HE Minister of Environment and Climate Change Sheikh Dr. Faleh bin Nasser bin Ahmed bin Ali Al-Thani met separately with HE Special Representative of the European Union for the Gulf Region Luigi Di Maio, Executive Director of the Clean Air Task Force (CATF) Armond Cohen, and Chairman of the Committee for Environmental Protection of the Republic of Tajikistan Sheralizoda Bahodur Ahmadjon, on the sidelines of his participation in the Conference of the Parties of the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP28) which concludes its activities today in the United Arab Emirates.
The meetings discussed issues of common interest, including aspects of cooperation in various fields of environment and addressing climate change, and ways to enhance and develop them. (QNA)
