Several Palestinians were injured, while 27 others were arrested, including a woman and a freed prisoner, when the Israeli occupation forces stormed several cities in the West Bank on Sunday.

According to Palestinian news agency (WAFA), the Israeli occupation forces broke into Al-Dhaheriyah, south of Hebron, amidst firing of live ammunition and poison gas bombs, leaving a number of Palestinians injured by live fire.

Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation forces arrested five Palestinians in Hebron, two in Ramallah, and five others, including a woman and a freed prisoner, in Nablus and Bethlehem.

In Tubas, the occupation forces arrested 13 Palestinians after raiding and searching their houses. Two more Palestinians were arrested in Jerusalem.

The Israeli occupation forces have stepped up their operations in the occupied Jerusalem and West Bank in recent weeks, increasing the pace of incursions into Palestinian cities and towns and arrests against youth and activists. (QNA)
