The First Lady of Uzbekistan, Ziroatkhon Hoshimova, visited the Museum of Islamic Art (MIA) and the National Museum of Qatar (NMoQ), going on guided tours of the permanent collections and current exhibitions.
At the NMoQ, Hoshimova was received by director Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Hamad al-Thani, who accompanied her on the tour, providing a commentary on the museum and galleries.
At the MIA, she was welcomed by Qatar Museums acting chief executive Mohamed Saad al-Rumaihi, who also accompanied her on the tour with MIA guide Wafa al-Jufairi.
