At least three Palestinians were killed tonight by Israeli gunfire, as Israeli occupation forces accompanied by bulldozers stormed the city of Jenin in the north of the occupied West Bank.
Palestinian news agency WAFA reported that the Israeli military stormed the city while opening gunfire indiscriminately, sparking confrontations with the local residents. The use of live ammunition by the forces resulted in the murder of three Palestinians, Ammar Abu al-Wafa, 21, and Ahmad Abu al-Heja, 20.
The occupation forces also encircled the Jenin Governmental Hospital and the local branch of the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS), as well as the Ibn Sina Hospital, blocking access to these facilities. As access the city's two main hospitals was blocked, all casualties were being transported to the Al-Razi Hospital in the city.
Snipers were reported to have positioned on the rooftops of some buildings in the city and the vicinity of the Jenin refugee camp during the raid.
During the ongoing raid, Israeli occupation forces embarked on bulldozing of streets on the outskirts of the Jenin refugee camp, destroying infrastructure and rendering roads unusable.
