A delegation from Asset Affairs of the Public Works Authority (Ashghal) has participated in the AVEVA World Conference in San Francisco, USA. The team, according to an official statement from Ashghal, was headed by Eng. Abdulrhman Masalmani, Intelligent Transportation Systems Section Head and Eng. Abdullah Bahzad, Monitoring and Control Engineer. The team joined the conference to showcase the authority’s achievements in digital transformation.
“On the way to our 2030 goal, Ashghal has been setting milestones to achieve more efficiencies. Lately, the use of the AVEVA system platform has become increasingly integral to our operations, offering which requires more engagement, centralisation, and optimisation. These digital initiatives are key to making Doha a reference smart city in the region and the world.” Eng. Maslamani said.
Eng. Abdullah Bahzad noted the conference was a unique platform to engage with experts, deepen technical expertise and share and exchange trusted information to connect and drive responsible use by embracing digital transformation.
