Al Tala'a (release of falcons to hunt a Houbara bustard bird) competitions at the 5th Ras Laffan Falcon Championship, organised by Al Gannas Qatari Society continued Sunday morning at Marmi at the Sealine Area. Five more falcons were able to qualify for the next round. So far 10 falcons have qualified.
Mohamed Mubarak al-Ali, head of Al Tala'a Committee at the Championship, said Sunday's competitions were delayed for some time in the morning for better horizontal vision to ensure fair competition conditions among all participants.
The championship, sponsored by Ras Laffan Community Outreach programme, is set to go on until November 25.
