Following the successful events in 2018 and 2019, Marriott Business Councils Qatar Tuesday announced the return of the 'Ride for Education' cycling event hosted by the Sheraton Grand Doha Resort & Convention Hotel.
Set to take place on December 8 at 7am, the event is dedicated to supporting the Education Above All (EAA) Foundation by raising funds through the Road to Awareness – Marriott International’s annual associate fundraising campaign in the region.
The charity bike ride unites various Marriott International properties in Doha to support the EAA Foundation, empowering children globally through education.
This initiative calls upon participants to join forces for the more significant cause of global education, a statement said.
The 'Ride for Education' showcases the commitment of Marriott Business Councils Qatar to making a tangible difference in the lives of underprivileged children. As a part of the Road to Awareness initiative, `Ride for Education` reflects Marriott’s dedication to creating a positive impact in local communities, striving to provide a brighter future for those in need.
For those interested in participating in the 'Ride for Education,' tickets can be purchased online via Q-Tickets.
Ticket options come in three tiers: Silver at QR150, including an event jersey; Gold at QR200, including an event jersey and raffle tickets; and Platinum at QR250, which provides an event jersey, raffle tickets, and a bicycle. Registration will begin at 5.30am on December 8, the statement added.
