Israeli artillery renewed Monday its bombardment of villages and towns in southern Lebanon.
The bombardment targeted the towns of Naqoura and Labouneh in the western sector, while the outskirts of the towns of Tayr Harfa, Shihin, Umm al-Tut and Jebbayn in Tyre District were subjected to artillery shelling.
In addition, Israeli military reconnaissance aircraft flew along the southern Lebanese border.
Sunday saw the most violent Israeli attacks on Lebanon since the entity started its assault on October 8. Last night, the Israeli army attacked the towns of Houla, Meiss El Jabal, Blida, and Yaroun using the internationally banned white phosphorus munitions, causing suffocation cases among the civilians.
