Qatar Charity (QC) has concluded the five-day forum for its field offices held under the slogan *Let us Leave a Mark.
It was aimed at enhancing co-ordination between the QC headquarters and its field offices and improve the capabilities of the field office staff.
During the closing ceremony, 14 long-term employees from the field offices were honoured.
Qatar Charity chief executive Yousuf bin Ahmed al-Kuwari handed over certificates of honour to them, in recognition of their distinguished efforts during their tenure, which are 15 years or more.
QC Field Offices Department director Manaa al-Ansari said: “Our aim, through the slogan *Let us Leave a Mark, is that all the participants can leave their marks in Qatar Charity projects, and that we break down all barriers between Qatar Charity field offices and its headquarters and build authentic bridges through which employees can convey the message of the Qatar community and philanthropists to all countries of the world.”
The forum included 15 workshops delivered by experts and specialists from the various sectors and departments of Qatar Charity.
The workshops covered a variety of topics, including child and family care, emergency and relief management, financial affairs management, international programme and development management, information technology management, governance, procurement, tenders, and resource development and media.
A workshop was also organised by the Regulatory Authority for Charitable Activities.
A total of 14 employees from the field offices were honoured at the forum.
