Qatar participated in the Fourth Gulf Conference on Cybersecurity Challenges, which is being hosted by Kuwait from Nov 6-9.
Assistant Undersecretary for Shared Services Affairs at the Ministry of Finance Kaltham bint Sultan al-Hajri represented Qatar at the conference as she participated in the discussion session on the challenges of cybersecurity in the GCC countries.
The conference agenda includes a number of significant topics and opportunities to build a specialised professional network that enhances the institutional capabilities of individuals, learn about the findings of research and studies in the field of cybersecurity, as well as exchange of knowledge and experiences with participants from fraternal and friendly countries.
The importance of the conference, which is held under the theme "Secure digital society and governance," lies in following up on global developments to support and protect the content of the cloud space of GCC countries, and to confront cyber attacks that target the infrastructure of countries, and aims to unify Gulf efforts to confront cybersecurity challenges.
