Qatar is participating in the Fourth Gulf Cyber Security Challenges Conference and exhibition now being held in Kuwait.
Kaltham bint Sultan al-Hajri, Deputy Undersecretary for Joint Services Affairs at the Ministry of Finance, participated in Decision-Makers Session “Cyber security challenges in the GCC”.
Besides several topics of interest, the conference agenda includes opportunities to build a specialised professional network that enhances the institutional capabilities of individuals, learning about research and studies in the field of cybersecurity, and exchanging knowledge and experiences with participants from friendly countries.
Ministry of Finance in a statement said, “This year’s theme, ‘A secure digital society and governance’ is important to follow up on global developments to support and protect the content of the cloud space of the GCC countries. This is important to confront cyberattacks that target the infrastructure of countries and the need to unify Gulf efforts to face cybersecurity challenges.”
