The Israeli occupation forces Wednesday detained 66 Palestinians in raids at their homes throughout the occupied Jerusalem and West Bank.

In the Jerusalem area, the forces roundel up 25 Palestinians from various areas.

In addition, 11 were detained from the Jenin district, five were detained in Hebron, three others detained from Qalqilya, four from Ramallah district, two from Tulkarem and one from Nablus.

Various areas in West Bank and occupied Jerusalem witness daily raids and incursions by Israeli occupation forces, accompanied by confrontations, arrests, live and rubber bullet firing and the use of tear gas canisters against Palestinian youth. The intensity of these campaigns has increased in parallel with the unprecedented and ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since Oct. 7, resulting in thousands of martyrs and casualties among innocent civilians, with most of them being children and women.
