One Palestinian was martyred and another seriously wounded during confrontations with the Israeli occupation forces in Jenin in the occupied West Bank.
According to Palestinian news agency (WAFA), the occupation forces of more than 100 military vehicles and two armored bulldozers stormed into Jenin city from several directions and surrounded the vicinity of Ibn Sina Hospital while a reconnaissance drone flew over the city.
The occupation forces deployed their snipers on the rooftops of the buildings surrounding Ibn Sina Hospital, and heavily fired live ammunition at the citizens.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society reported that two young men were injured by live bullets in the chest, abdomen, and extremities, while a third was injured by bullet fragments. Later, Director of Jenin Governmental Hospital Wissam Bakr said that Amir Abdullah Sharbaji succumbed to his wounds, while the other injured remains in critical condition.
The occupation bulldozers began bulldozing the streets and infrastructure in Jenin city, as well as the streets leading to Jenin Camp where they placed earth mounds in order to isolate the camp from the city.
