The Israeli occupation forces continue to intensify military measures across the occupied West Bank, closing checkpoints and entrances to cities and towns.

Since the start of the Israeli occupation aggression on Gaza Strip on Oct. 7, the occupation forces have continued to close the military checkpoints in the towns and villages of Ramallah with iron gates, in addition to the northern entrance to Al-Bireh in both directions using cement blocks.

In Bethlehem, the occupation forces has closed the entrances to the towns with earth mounds, iron gates and cement blocks. They also erected military checkpoints in Tubas and Qalqilya, obstructing traffic daily for more than two weeks.

Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation forces have been launching large-scale arrest campaigns in various parts of the West Bank on daily basis. On Wednesday, the occupation forces arrested 72 Palestinians, including a freed prisoner.

Different parts of the occupied Jerusalem and West Bank are subjected to daily arrests and incursions by the Israeli occupation forces who often clash with the Palestinians and fire live and rubber bullets and poisonous gas bombs. The pace of the occupation's assaults increased in conjunction with the unprecedent brutal Israeli aggression on Gaza Strip for the 19th consecutive day, which left thousands martyred and injured, and caused massive destruction to infrastructure.
