Weather inshore today until 6pm on Wednesday will be hazy relatively hot daytime with a chance of scattered rain maybe thundery at times associated with blowing dust, the Department of Meteorology said in its daily weather report, warning of thundery rain at places by daytime associated with strong wind and poor visibility.
Offshore, it will be hazy with scattered clouds to partly cloudy at times, the report added.
Wind inshore will be mainly northeasterly - southeasterly 5 - 15 KT, gusting to 35 KT at places with thundery rain.
Offshore, it will be variable mainly northeasterly - southeasterly 3 - 13 KT, gusting to 18 KT at times.
Visibility inshore will be 4 - 8 km/2 km or less at places at times. Offshore, it will be 4 - 8 km.
Sea state inshore will be 1 - 2 ft, rises to 4 ft at times. Offshore will be 1 - 3 ft, rises to 5 ft at times.
