Two Palestinians were martyred and several others were injured at dawn Wednesday after the Israeli occupation warplanes shelled an area near Jenin Camp Martyrs Cemetery in the occupied West Bank.
Local sources reported that the Israeli occupation forces raided the village of Barqin, Wadi Barqin and Al-Hadaf area near Jenin Camp and deployed snipers on the rooftops of houses and buildings, then the warplanes fired at least two missiles at a group of citizens gathering in the surroundings of Jenin Camp Martyrs Cemetery, leaving two martyrs and injuring several others. The occupation forces prevented ambulances from reaching the injured and fired at anyone who approached them.
The power was cut off in several neighborhoods in the city of Jenin during the invasion of the occupation forces, the sources added.
Meanwhile, large forces of the Israeli occupation army raided the eastern area of Nablus City at dawn Wednesday.
According to Palestinian news agency (WAFA), the occupation forces, accompanied by an armored bulldozer, broke into the eastern area of Nablus City and centered in the surroundings of the Old Askar Camp and Al-Masaken Al-Shabiyya neighborhood, and deployed snipers on the rooftops of houses in the area.
