His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani affirmed that the barbaric bombing of innocent civilians in Gaza is a dangerous escalation, and has exceeded all limits.
In a post on his official account on the social media platform X, the Amir said: "We reject attacks on civilians by any party, regardless of their nationality. We refuse to act as if the lives of Palestinian children do not count, as if they are faceless or nameless. War does not provide a solution, rather exacerbates the suffering of victims and feelings of injustice.
"We say to Israel, enough. It is not permissible to continue ignoring the reality of occupation, siege, and settlement. We call for a serious regional and international stance to stop the war and the bloodshed, and work without expanding the circle of conflict that threatens the security of the region and the world."
His Highness the Amir continued: "The only way to achieve a just and lasting peace is for the Palestinian people to obtain their full rights.
" Qatar is a reliable mediator in peacemaking and conflict resolution, and will continue this approach."
His Highness the Amir added: "Openness to cultural interaction contributes to the development of our Qatari, Arab, and Muslim identity. Family is a basic building block of society, and we count on the citizens awareness of the importance of his role in his position, his social responsibilities, and duties towards the nation."
