The Israeli occupation forces detained 120 Palestinians in a massive arrest campaign across the West Bank on Monday.
The occupation forces arrested 27 Palestinians in Ramallah, 12 in Bethlehem, and seven Palestinians in Tulkarm and Jenin, after raiding and searching their homes, according to Palestinian news agency (WAFA).
In the southern West Bank governorate of Hebron, the Israeli occupation forces detained 59 persons, including 40 workers from Gaza Strip who were kicked out of their work in the 48 territories.
The occupation forces also arrested 15 Palestinians in Jericho and Nablus, after raiding and searching their homes.
The Israeli occupation detained more than 6,500 Palestinians since the beginning of 2023 - the highest number of detainees in years, according to Palestinian Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs Authority. The number of arrests in the West Bank since October 7 has reached more than 1,215 and included all categories including children, women and the elderly.
Different parts of the occupied Jerusalem and West Bank face daily arrests and incursions by the Israeli occupation forces who often clash with the Palestinians and fire live and rubber bullets and poisonous gas bombs. The pace of the occupation's assaults increased in conjunction with the ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza Strip for the 17th day which left thousands martyred and injured, and caused massive destruction to infrastructure.
