HE the Minister of State for International Co-operation at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Lolwah bint Rashid AlKhater met Sunday at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs with French ambassador to Qatar Jean-Baptiste Faivre.
The meeting discussed bilateral relations and avenues for supporting and developing them, besides discussing developments in the occupied Palestinian territories, especially Gaza and means of de-escalation.
They also discussed the latest developments in Ukraine, the importance of Qatari mediation and assistance, along with the situations in Afghanistan, particularly girls' education.
HE AlKhater expressed Qatar's firm position in condemning all forms of targeting civilians, adding that killing innocent civilians, especially women and children, and practising the policy of collective punishment are unacceptable under any pretext.
She underscored the importance of entry of relief convoys and humanitarian assistance to the Palestinian brothers trapped under bombardment.
