Qatar Chamber and the Qatar Primary Materials Company (Al Awalia) signed a diamond sponsorship agreement Sunday for the ninth edition of the Made in Qatar 2023 exhibition.
The agreement was signed by Qatar Chamber Administrative & Finance Affairs Department director Hussain Yosef al-Abdulghani and Al Awalia Administration director Mohamed Abubaker al-Mahmoud.
Held under the patronage of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani, the Made in Qatar exhibition is organised by Qatar Chamber, in co-operation with the Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MoCI) from November 29 to December 2 at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre (DECC).
Al-Abdulghani thanked Al Awalia for its continuous support for the exhibition and lauded the company’s role in the Qatari economy by securing a large reserve of building materials needed for the local market in line with the state’s urban and construction boom.
He also commended the company’s continuous support for the exhibition, which reflects Al Awalia’s keenness to support the national industry and promote Qatari products.
Al-Abdulghani emphasised the exhibition’s role in promoting the national industry and fostering communication among businessmen and entrepreneurs in the industrial sector and hopes that the exhibition would significantly contribute to the further development of the industrial sector, especially among small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
For his part, al-Mahmoud stressed the vital role of the Made in Qatar exhibition in promoting local industry and products. He said that the exhibition provides a valuable opportunity for the company to highlight its role in the local market and the products it offers, such as dune and washed sand, gabbro, and other materials needed for the construction market in Qatar.
