The Palestinian Ministry of Awqaf and Religious Affairs asserted that the Israeli occupation has entirely devastated five mosques since last night due to the intense shelling of Gaza Strip.
The number of the mosques that have been entirely destroyed since the beginning of the aggression on Gaza rose to 31 mosques, the ministry said in a statement.
It added that the violent and direct Israeli bombing caused major devastation of three churches, whilst dozens of mosques have either been exposed to partial destruction or exposed to profound damages due to the Israeli airstrikes, in addition to striking civilian sites, including the headquarters of the ministry, the Holy Qur'an radio premises and Greek Orthodox church.
