Three Palestinians were martyred Sunday and others were injured by live bullets during confrontations with Israeli occupation forces in several cities in the occupied West Bank.
According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, a young 26-year-old man Malik Jameel Sharqawi was martyred by a bullet in the heart, fired by the occupation forces during confrontations that broke out in the Askar refugee camp in the city of Nablus, while three others were injured by live ammunition. Their condition was described as stable, the Palestinian News Agency (Wafa) reported.
The 20-year-old Adnan Abu Helmi was also martyred by a bullet in the head, while seven others were injured with varying injuries during confrontations that broke out with Israeli forces in Tammun town in Tubas.
In Jenin, a young Palestinian man martyred as a result of being shot by the occupation forces during confrontations that broke out after those forces stormed the city of Qabatiya.
With the rise of the three martyrs in Jenin, Tubas, and Nablus, the death toll in the West Bank since the start of the ongoing Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people on Oct. 7 has risen to 90 martyrs.
The massive and unprecedented Israeli occupation aggression continues for the 16th day in a row against the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, with attacks, confrontations, and violent airstrike from aircraft, battleships, gunboats, and occupation artillery, and intense raids targeting residential neighborhoods, hospitals, and mosques, destroying entire neighborhoods and leaving thousands of martyrs and wounded Palestinian civilians, most of them children and women. Rescue teams face extreme difficulty in counting the number of martyrs as a result of the continuous violent bombing, in light of international warnings of a humanitarian and health catastrophe as a result of the stifling siege imposed by the occupation on the Gaza Strip and its deliberate cutting off of food, water, electricity, and fuel supplies.
