Mowasalat gifts two buses to Qatar Guest Centre in community initiative

Mowasalat (Karwa) has gifted two refurbished buses to the Qatar Guest Centre. This, according to an official press statement from Karwa, fosters cultural exchange and promotes peaceful coexistence amongst the diverse communities in Qatar.
Karwa believes in contributing positively to the community and supporting initiatives encouraging cultural understanding. This gifting of two buses is a testament to the company’s dedication to these principles.
Khalid Kafood, media and government relations manager at Karwa, said Mowasalat understands the significance of promoting social harmony while celebrating cultural diversity. “For this, we not only connect people daily through transport, but we also feel our mandate of a wider social responsibility. We are honoured to partner with the Qatar Guest Center to strengthen ties within our community," he said.
Abdulrahman al-Malki, Qatar Guest Centre manager, said that the centre highly appreciates the continuous and productive co-operation with Karwa in the context of the company's social responsibility. “Their consistent efforts in enhancing Qatar Guest Centre's role in promoting the respect for Islamic identity, Arab traditions and Qatari heritage and fostering positive spirit and co-operation among drivers and workers including ongoing Arabic language conversation courses for their employees, have been commendable. This constructive engagement is further exemplified by the generous gifting of two buses, supporting Qatar Guest Centre's mission to enhance peaceful coexistence and exchange with various communities and cultures in Qatar,” he said.
These buses will transport new Muslims and members of different communities to and from the residences to the locations of the Qatar Guest Centre's various orientation programmes and activities for spreading awareness and introducing the foundations and principles of Islam, in addition to Sharia educational programmes, courses and daily advocacy lessons, Arabic language teaching programmes, as well as trips and honouring ceremonies for the distinguished members.
This generous gesture from Karwa will undoubtedly strengthen the centre’s role in delivering its message for raising awareness and emphasising the importance of mutual respect and understanding among cultures.
