MES Indian School students won prizes in the interschool dance competition organised by the Indian Cultural Centre (ICC). Arundhathy Gopikrishnan (XII-P) bagged first place in Kuchipudi, Saavariya Arun Nambiar (XI-P) secured second place in Mohiniyattam, Prarthana Shaju Nair (X-P) won the third place in Bharatanatyam while the Folk Dance team claimed a second position. Sivagowri, teacher-in-charge was the choreographer and trainer for the Folk Dance and other solo events. Suresh, a teacher from the department of fine arts, contributed his artistic expertise. Krishna Rajeev and Asha Satheeshan accompanied the team. Anwar and Sumitha Nassar were the overall coordinators. Principal Dr Hameeda Kadar congratulated the winners and trainers.
