Qatar University (QU) made a significant impact at the 18th Engineering Forum for QatarEnergy LNG, held recently at the Qatar National Convention Centre (QNCC).
QU unveiled a range of pioneering research projects to address the evolving needs of the oil and gas industry. With a strong focus on groundbreaking clean energy solutions and carbon dioxide mitigation, QU exhibited a commitment to innovation that could revolutionise the energy sector.
QU's booth at the forum served as a hub of innovation, attracting industry professionals and delegates to delve into the institution's cutting-edge advancements in the energy sector. These projects not only underscored QU's dedication to nurturing innovative solutions but also its commitment to addressing the specific requirements of the national oil and gas sector.
Prof Mariam al-Maadeed, vice president, Research and Graduate Studies at QU, stated, “The presence of QU at such prominent industry events underscores our commitment to bridging academia and the oil and gas sector. Dr Noora al-Qahtani, acting section head of the Central Laboratories Unit and a representative of QU at the forum emphasised: “We have an unwavering belief in the transformative power of knowledge and innovation.
