The National Cyber Security Agency (NCSA) is participating in the 8th Singapore International Cyber Week (SICW) 2023 from October 17-19, with the aim of introducing the agency, exchanging knowledge and gaining expertise from global best practices.
Through its pavilion, NCSA is highlighting its prominent achievements, such as successfully securing the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 and other major sports tournaments, in addition to other major projects carried out by the agency such as obtaining cyber security certification from the Common Criteria Recognition Arrangement (CCRA) and the Educational Cyber Security Curricula.
NCSA also participated in a panel discussion entitled "Enhancing Diversity for Cyber Security Workforce," within the Women in Cyber Security event. The session discussed a number of important topics, most notably Qatar's role in supporting women in cyber security as well as women leadership. It was attended by the director of the cyber resilience, risk, and crisis department at NCSA, Nora al-Abdulla.
The Singapore International Cyber Week is one of the largest cyber security events in the Asia Pacific region. It includes a series of sessions and events aimed at discussing the latest challenges and trends in cyber space, cyber threats, cyber policies, operational technology security, and service providers' accreditation.
