The Israeli occupation forces launched last night a large-scale arrest campaign in various parts of the occupied Jerusalem and West Bank.
Local sources told Palestinian news agency (WAFA) that the occupation forces arrested 12 Palestinians in the city of Jerusalem and its neighborhoods, including a young man in Wadi al-Joz neighborhood, and an 80-years old woman and her son in Wadi Hilweh neighborhood in Silwan, south of Al-Aqsa Mosque, after raiding and searching their house, in addition to a child in the same town.
The occupation forces also arrested a Palestinian girl in Shaafat Camp, north of occupied Jerusalem, one young man in Al-Issawiya, and six others in al-Towr, east of Jerusalem.
In the West Bank, the occupation forces arrested three Palestinians in Hebron, and one more in Beit Jala, west of Bethlehem, after raiding and searching their houses.
On Sunday, the Israeli occupation forces arrested 29 Palestinians in various areas in the West Banks.
The Israeli occupation forces have stepped up their raids and arrest campaigns against the Palestinians in the occupied Jerusalem and West Bank in conjunction with its unprecedented and continuing aggression against Gaza Strip for the ninth consecutive day.
