A Palestinian was martyred Monday after he was critically injured by the Israeli occupation gunfire in Tulkarm in the occupied West Bank.
Medical sources told Palestinian news agency (WAFA) that Rami Hassan, aged 33, succumbed to his wound sustained in the head, after the Israeli occupation force shot him while he was driving his vehicle west of Tulkarm last Friday.
With the martyrdom of Hassan, the number of Palestinian martyred in Tulkarm since last Friday rises to 8.
Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation forces arrested eight Palestinians in various areas of Bethlehem after raiding and searching their houses.
The Israeli occupation forces have stepped up their raids and arrest campaigns against the Palestinians in the occupied Jerusalem and West Bank in conjunction with its unprecedented and continuing aggression against Gaza Strip for the ninth consecutive day.
