The Israeli occupation forces continued Sunday their relentless aggression for the ninth consecutive day on the besieged Gaza Strip, resulting in the tragic loss of at least 41 Palestinian civilian lives, many of them children and women.

According to Palestinian news agency (WAFA), at least 13 individuals, including children, were brutally killed in an Israeli aerial bombardment that targeted the city of Rafah, south of the territory. Many others were wounded, with some still buried under the rubble.

Meantime, Israeli occupation warplanes launched airstrikes that claimed the lives of at least 15 Palestinian civilians in the Tel al-Hawa neighborhood, southwest of Gaza City. Several people remain trapped beneath the debris as well.

Israeli military aircraft bombarded Tel al-Hawa neighborhood, resulting in multiple deaths and injuries among innocent civilians, including children. Rescue operations are still ongoing at the scene.

In the city of Deir al-Balah, in the central Gaza Strip, at least seven innocent civilians were killed when Israeli occupation forces targeted a home with aerial bombardment in the vicinity of the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital. Several others were wounded, and rescue efforts continue in the area.

Another six innocent civilians, including children, were murdered after an Israeli airstrike struck a home in the central region of the Gaza Strip.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced Sunday that the number of Palestinian martyrs in Gaza and the West Bank has risen to 2,384, while the number of wounded has increased to approximately 10,150 since the beginning of the current aggression on October 7.

The statement clarified that the number of martyrs in Gaza has reached 2,329, most of them children and women. The number of wounded has reached 9,042.

In West Bank, the number of martyrs has risen to 55 after the announcement Saturday of the martyrdom of the child Muhammad Rafat Adwan (16 years old) in Tulkarm, while the number of wounded has exceeded 1,100. (QNA)
