Omani Minister of Foreign Affairs Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi discussed, during phone calls he conducted with his counterparts the foreign ministers of the Gulf Cooperation Council (QCC), the developments of the current situation in the Palestinian territories.

The Omani News Agency (ONA) reported that the GCC Foreign Ministers stressed during the phone calls that the international community and international parties supporting efforts to resume the peace process have a fundamental responsibility to intervene immediately to stop the ongoing escalation in Palestine, open humanitarian corridors for the population in Gaza, and resort to the rules of international and humanitarian law.

The humanitarian situation in Gaza is witnessing an unprecedented deterioration in light of the continued violent Israeli bombing of the Strip and the evacuation orders issued by the occupation to residents of the northern Gaza Strip. (QNA)
