Boasting a remarkable history that spans more than a century, Hama, the renowned German distributor of electronics accessories, officially announced its entry into Qatar Tuesday through a strategic partnership with Dohatna Innovative Distribution, a company of Ali Bin Ali Holding, a leading conglomerate in the country.
The event was attended by more than 100 people including stakeholders, representatives from the two companies and electronic enthusiasts, a statement said.
Hama is set to introduce a portfolio of over 300 products, which uphold the promise of premium German quality while remaining affordable, accompanied by product warranties ranging from one to 30 years for even the simplest accessories.
Hama, which has a comprehensive catalogue of more than 18,000 products, currently enjoys a presence in over 70 countries.
Officiating the event, Hama's director for the Middle East, Africa, and India, Jayakrishnan Poduwal, expressed excitement in the partnership with Dohatna.
"Hama has consistently upheld its dedication to delivering German-quality products at accessible prices. As a company with a century-long legacy in the electronics accessories industry, our entry into the Qatar market is a significant milestone. It is a source of immense pride that, after almost a century, we remain steadfast in our unwavering commitment to quality," he noted.
Dohatna's operations manager Azhar Baksh commended the effort taken to strengthen business opportunity between the two companies to offer quality products, exceptional service, and competitive pricing to the Qatar market.
“Hama has established strategic alliances with Dohatna Innovative Distribution in Qatar, to ensure extensive coverage across the entire country. Additionally, the brand has set up retail channels, allowing it to connect with a wider consumer base spanning millions in Qatar,” said Baksh.
Hama offers top-tier accessories such as gaming peripherals, headphones, multiport hubs, multi-device wireless mice, mobile accessories including Apple-certified products for iPhones and iPads, HDMI cables, binoculars, camera trolley bags, and tripods, the statement added.
