His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani met in his office at the Amiri Diwan Monday with Vice President of the friendly Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela Dr Delcy Eloina Rodriguez Gomez and the accompanying delegation on the occasion of her visit to the country.
At the outset of the meeting, Dr Delcy conveyed to His Highness the Amir the greetings of President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela Nicolas Maduro, and his wishes of good health and happiness to the Amir and further progress and prosperity to the Qatari people.
For his part, His Highness the Amir entrusted the vice president to convey his greetings to the president, and his wishes of good health to him and further progress and development for the people of Venezuela.
During the meeting, they discussed cooperation relations between the two countries and prospects for developing them, in addition to several topics of common interest.
HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim al-Thani attended the meeting.
