The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned the shelling that targeted an UNRWA school sheltering hundreds of Palestinian civilians, including children, women and elderly.

In a statement, the Foreign Ministry said that what happened was a crime in every sense of the word, especially since this shelling hit a school affiliated with the United Nations.

Furthermore, the Foreign Ministry condemned the ongoing massacres committed by the occupation forces against defenseless civilians in the Gaza Strip. These massacres have affected dozens of families. The Ministry also condemned the continuous destruction of homes and civilian institutions, which has led to the deaths and injuries of thousands of Palestinians, with the numbers continuing to rise, and forced thousands of Palestinian citizens to be displaced from their homes.

The Palestinian Foreign Ministry called on countries and relevant international bodies to observe the crimes committed by the occupation and the massacres carried out under the guise of "self-defense," which have been given the green light by the international community. (QNA)
