Qatar participated in the 19th Arab conference for heads of investigation and criminal evidence services in Tunis.
Qatar was represented at the two-day conference by Director General of Criminal Investigation at the Ministry of Interior Brigadier-General Jamal Mohamed al-Kaabi.
The conference discussed the use of websites in committing crimes, the role of criminal databases in detecting crimes, in addition to reviewing the results of the work of the meetings of the two committees concerned with examining the establishment of databases for biometric and ballistic fingerprints.
