The Family Consulting Centre (Wifaq), affiliated to Qatar Social Work Foundation of the Ministry of Social Development and Family, has launched the 36th season of the rehabilitation programme for those who are willing to get married.
The five-day programme is held under the auspices of the Ministry of Endowments (Awqaf) and Islamic Affairs' General Directorate of Endowments and features the participation of professionals in family guidance and marital relationship from Wifaq.
Through an endowment bank to care for family and childhood, the General Directorate of Endowments has been sponsoring the rehabilitative programme since 2019, which is considered a vital contribution in building secure and stable families in support of Qatar National Vision 2030.
Sponsorship is a strategic partnership that prepares and rehabilitates young people from both genders to be equipped with knowledge and understanding of proper marital life. The programme includes social, psychological, Sharia, economic and health themes and comes within the operational projects presented by Wifaq that primarily urge young people to get married and solidify family cohesion.
