Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi and his Iranian counterpart, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, discussed bilateral and regional issues, including the Palestinian issue.
In a meeting held on the sidelines of the 78th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York, Safadi stressed Jordan's commitment to ending all tensions in the region and developing relations with Iran based on mutual respect, good neighborliness, non-interference in internal affairs, and addressing all tension sources. He pointed to the importance of the security dialogue that the two countries had initiated to achieve this. (QNA)
