Qatar Social Work Foundation (QSW) organized a training workshop on "Event Organization and Management" for its employees and affiliated centers. The workshop was conducted by Naif al-Shahrani, head of the "TAM" Volunteer Work Network and Actin Manager of Community Awareness at the "Nama" Center.
The workshop focused on enhancing the knowledge and skills necessary for efficient event organization and management. Practical sessions and group discussions were conducted regarding the mechanisms of event organization and management, as effective event management is considered a crucial factor in success and sustainability.
Trainer Al-Shahrani stressed the importance of training employees responsible for events within QSW and its centers on key aspects of event organization. He said: "During the workshop, we reviewed practical examples and real-life experiences in event organisation and management." He added that the goal of the workshop is to develop the capabilities and skills of employees working in the field of conference and meeting management, both locally and internationally, and to provide them with the latest scientific, technical, and practical knowledge to help them perform their roles with a high degree of professionalism and expertise in various events organized by the foundation and its centers.
Accordingly, the participants in the workshop expressed their appreciation for the knowledge and information they gained and thanked those responsible for carrying out the workshop.
