The Israeli occupation forces arrested today eight Palestinians from various areas in the occupied West Bank.
The Palestinian News Agency (Wafa) reported that the occupation forces arrested five young men while they were trying to pass their vehicle at the Beit Furik checkpoint, east of Nablus, pointing out that it deliberately restricts the pressure on about 24,000 Palestinians from the towns of Beit Furik and Beit Dajan on an almost daily basis.
The occupation forces also arrested two Palestinians as they passed through the Dotan military checkpoint, which is located on the lands of the town of Yabad in the Jenin Governorate, while another Palestinian was arrested after his house was raided and searched in the Jourat Al-Shamaa area, east of Yatta, in Hebron.
On the other hand, the occupation forces set up several military checkpoints at the entrances to towns and camps in Hebron Governorate, checked the identities of Palestinians and searched their vehicles.
It is noteworthy that a young Palestinian man was martyred yesterday, Friday, as a result of his injuries sustained during the Israeli occupation forces storming of the village of Kafr Dan, west of the city of Jenin in the occupied West Bank. A number of Palestinians were also injured by live bullets, and dozens by suffocation, after the occupation forces targeted peaceful marches in the eastern Gaza Strip. (QNA)
