The Shura Council participated in the meeting of the 32nd session of the Executive Committee of the Arab Inter-Parliamentary Union, which was held on Wednesday in Baghdad. The Council is represented at the meeting by HE Member of the Shura Council and Member of the Executive Committee Dr Sultan bin Hassan al-Dhabet al-Dosari. The meeting discussed the Secretary-General's report and mechanisms for developing the work of the union. The draft work programme and the draft general budget for 2024 were also discussed, as well as the restructuring of special committees and other topics related to the work of the union. (QNA)
