Olive International School (OIS), Doha held an online Students’ Exchange Programme with the aim of fostering cultural understanding, promoting global awareness and enhancing academic collaboration between students from two diverse regions, Doha and Delhi.
The session commenced with a welcome note by Vandana, a faculty from Delhi International School (DIS), Dwarka. Around 45 students from DIS, Dwarka and OIS, Doha took part in the session. Natasha Chopra, director, TC Global, hosted the programme. Pranav Thakurta, founder and chairman, Edu TV, India and his team, facilitated the session.
Shalini Rawat, vice principal - operations, OIS, Doha, initiated the programme. The students gained a deeper appreciation for the similarities and differences in cultures, leading to greater empathy and open-mindedness, and developed a broader perspective on global issues and challenges, contributing to their overall awareness.
