Three individuals from Arab countries were arrested on Friday for their involvement in theft crimes in the Umm Salal and Al Kheesa areas, the Ministry of Interior (MoI) said Saturday.
The arrests were made after the circulation of reports on certain social media platforms about thefts of private properties in these areas.
The apprehended persons admitted to committing several thefts and they have been referred, along with the items seized from them, to the prosecution authorities to continue the legal procedures in this regard, the MoI said in a statement posted on X.
