Qatari driver Nasser Al Attiyah moved away at the top of the overall standings of the Argentine Rally Desafio Ruta 40, which constitutes the fourth and penultimate round of the W2RC Championship for the 2023 season organized by the International Automobile Federation, after winning the title of the second stage.
Al Attiyah, accompanied by his French navigator Mathieu Beaumel, on board a Toyota Hilux, completed the fourth circular stage around the city of Belen, with a total distance of 579 km, including 345 km speed-controlled and 234 arriving stages, in a time of 2.57.41 hours.
The Qatari driver was 2.14 minutes ahead of the Saudi driver Yazid Mohammed Al Rajhi, accompanied by his German navigator Timo Gottschalk, who was in second place, with a time of 2.59.55 hours and 4.14 minutes ahead of Argentine Juan Cruz Yacobini, accompanied by his Spanish navigator, Daniel Oliveras, who finished third, with a time of 3.01.55 hours.
