The Lawyers Admission Committee convened Tuesday under the chairmanship of HE the Minister of Justice Masoud bin Mohamed al-Amri at the permanent premises of the Ministry of Justice to consider the topics incorporated into its agenda, including the swearing-in of 13 lawyers before the committee and the applications submitted for re-enrolling four of the corresponding business owners on the lists of practicing lawyers.
In addition, the committee considered the applications submitted by a number of new lawyers whose training period has ended, and held a meeting with several applicants for practicing the profession, in addition to approving the applications of four under-training lawyers. The committee also reviewed requests to transfer the registration of three lawyers to the registration of practicing lawyers before the Courts of Cassation and Appeal, the re-registration of a female lawyer, and the consideration of cancelling the registration of three lawyers under training. The committee reviewed a number of topics regulating the legal profession, including requests to practice the profession for children of Qatari women on which the appropriate decisions have been taken.
