The Nomas Centre of the Ministry of Culture concluded its summer activity, which included many events and workshops. During a ceremony held at the headquarters, the girls affiliated with the activities were honoured to encourage them to continue their passion for heritage, authentic Qatari customs and traditions within a framework of religion and high morals, and provide them with the skills that qualify them for self-reliance and responsibility. The Centre recently completed the course (Popular Legacies), to introduce girls to the rich and diverse folklore. A workshop on popular games that seeks to clarify concepts, understand the meanings of things, and promote morals and values, such as order, honesty, and accepting failure, was also presented.
