The Embassy of Peru in Qatar has presented to the Qatar Philatelic and Numismatic Centre a collection of antique stamps and coins from the Republic of Peru. Ambassador José A. Benzaquen Perea handed over the collection to Hussein Rajab Ismail, director of the Qatar Philatelic and Numismatic Centre. The collection features 60 stamps from 1916 to 1999, depicting different aspects of Peruvian culture, including historical figures and moments, archaeological monuments, as well as fauna of Peru.
Rajab Ismail described the collection as a valuable addition that will be permanently exhibited in the Centre.
