Qatar Awami League is organising a blood donation campaign Friday at the Bangladesh embassy in Al Hilal from 2pm-7pm, it was announced Wednesday. The event is to mark the National Mourning Day of Bangladesh and 48th death anniversary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, a statement explained.
The campaign is in co-operation with the Blood Donor Unit of Hamad Medical Corporation. People from all nationalities are welcome to the event to donate blood, organisers said.
