Al Jazeera Media Institute concluded a package of courses for young age groups to develop their media skills, a statement said Wednesday.
Hamad al-Marri, director of planning and projects department at the institute, said: “These courses stem from the institute’s belief in the importance of investing in young cadres and the necessity of developing and enhancing their media culture.
“They cover a variety of skills such as self-confidence, facing the camera, creativity, photography, performance, voice placement, negotiation and persuasion, and communication. These courses include interactive exercises and practical applications presented by a group of professionals training experts,” he added.
The institute offered 10 training courses from mid-July. They were: Little Presenter, Mobile Photography, Theatrical Performance, Young Speaker Negotiation Skills and The Voice Placement Course.
The courses were taught by Ahmed al-Malki, Salem al-Jahwashi, presenter Mohamed Mzeimez, trainer, Rania al-Jamal, and coach Ayman al-Khatib.
