The two-month-long summer programme organised by Qatar Charity's Community Development Centre of Al Khor received remarkable interaction from the participants.
The initiative was held in co-operation with many bodies, including Al Khor and Al Thakhira Municipality, and some certified trainers.
The programme, which had 55 students, included a variety of educational, recreational, social, and sports activities, as well as training workshops and field trips to enhance various skills and abilities.
The aim is to connect Qatari youth with Qatar Charity's events and activities that align with their interests, build a balanced personality and boost self-confidence.
The participating students engaged in cleaning the Al Khor Corniche. Students distributed water, juices, and fruits to workers at their workplaces, appreciating their efforts in serving the country.
Jaber Al-Marri conducted a training workshop on problem solving and Salah al-Yafei on how to develop imagination and creativity and solve problems through the ‘Lego’ game.
At the end of the summer programme, prizes were awarded to the winners of the football league.
