His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, Sunday attended the reception hosted by Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban in honor of the heads of state who were invited to attend the World Athletics Championships Budapest 2023 and the Hungarian National Day celebrations.
His Highness the Amir witnessed the celebrations of the launch of the tournament and the National Day celebrations, which began with a visual display of various artistic and cultural exhibits amidst fireworks.
Earlier Sunday, His Highness the Amir had attended part of the 2023 World Athletics Championships, Budapest, at the National Athletics Center in the capital, Budapest.
The tournament and reception were also attended by HE Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al Thani, President of the Qatar Olympic Committee, and a number of Their Excellencies members of the official delegation accompanying His Highness the Amir.
