Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) announced that the results of FTSE Russell Global Equity Index Series Semi Annual Review, published on August 18, 2023, will be effective on September 14, 2023 after the close for the Qatari market.
The Index review changes announced may be subject to revision until close of business on September 1, 2023. Effective Monday, September 4, 2023, the index review changes will be considered final, QSE said in a release published on its official website.
The Review witnessed the inclusion of Dukhan Bank in FTSE Russell Mid Cap and Qatari German Company for Medical Devices in FTSE Russell Micro Cap.
It also witnessed the deletions of Medicare Group from FTSE Russell Small Cap, Qatar Industrial Manufacturing from FTSE Russell Micro Cap and Doha Insurance Group from FTSE Russell Micro Cap
Regarding reclassifications, Masraf Al Rayan was downgraded from FTSE Russell Large Cap to FTSE Russell Mid Cap, and Doha Bank was downgraded from FTSE Russell Mid Cap to FTSE Russell Small Cap.
